I took a page out of Jim's book here by just looking at what pictures I had on my computer and plopping one down in order to begin my first post. The pic, snapped by master photographer, Luke, stirs memories through my mind like the last few lumps of grape Kool-Aid flavoring that just won't seem to disolve into the sugar water no matter how hard you try. Switching direction from clockwise to counter and back won't help - these memories are here to stay. I guess it isn't a great comparison, because unlike those stubborn chunks of delicious drink mix, I really like the memories of this occasion.
Why is it only grape? Cherry mixes just fine, as does fruit punch. I've never had a problem with pink lemonade refusing to blend in - just grape. What makes it even worse is the fact that grape is obviously the best flavor of all. If Rock-a-dile Red or Mountainberry Punch left powdered floaties on the top, no big deal, dump it out and try a good flavor. Why grape?
Anywho, back to the picture. This Summer thanks to Rett, we had the opportunity to play music in front of thousands of people. It was incredible.

I think I need some sort of hook for my blog or it is going to fail. Jim has the daily spotlight... Man, what a great idea. I wish I had something like that. I hate to be a Johnny-come-lately, but if it wasn't for Jim's blog there is no chance I'd have ever started one myself. In the last couple of days it seems like his blog has occupied the majority of my thoughts - "Will Vaughn make a third appearance?", I ask my brain. I sure hope so. "Who will he spotlight today?", I think to myself. I have no idea, but heaven help me - I will continue clicking that refresh button as many times as it takes to find out.
